Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or attending any Unawkward Social event, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not register for or attend our events.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Unawkward Social, a unit of HPCCPL.

2. Event Registration

Registration Requirements:

• You must be at least 18 years of age to register for our events
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• Registration requires payment of the entry fee (currently ₹499)
• Registration is subject to availability and may be limited
• You must provide explicit consent for WhatsApp group inclusion

Registration Confirmation: Once you complete payment and registration, you will receive a confirmation with event details. This confirmation serves as your ticket to the event.

3. Payment Terms

All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) through our secure payment gateway. By making a payment, you agree to the following:

• The entry fee is ₹499 per person per event (unless otherwise specified)
• All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes
• Payment must be completed at the time of registration to secure your spot
• We do not store your payment information on our servers

4. Code of Conduct

All attendees are expected to:

• Treat all participants with respect and dignity
• Maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment
• Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour
• Respect others' boundaries and personal space
• Keep shared personal information confidential
• Engage authentically and honestly

We reserve the right to remove any attendee who violates these conduct standards without refund.

5. Photography and Recording

Photography and recording at our events are subject to the following:

• Always obtain consent before photographing or recording other attendees
• Unawkward Social may take photographs for promotional purposes
• You may opt out of being photographed by informing an organiser
• Recording of sessions without explicit consent from all participants is prohibited

6. Confidentiality

Our events create a safe space for authentic sharing. As such:

• Personal stories and information shared by other attendees must remain confidential
• Do not share others' personal information outside the event without their explicit consent
• Treat the community space with the same respect you would want for yourself

7. Liability Limitation

Unawkward Social shall not be liable for:

• Any personal injury or property damage occurring at events
• Any indirect or consequential damages arising from event attendance
• Any actions or conduct of other attendees

Attendance at our events is at your own risk. We take reasonable precautions to ensure a safe environment but cannot guarantee complete safety.

8. Event Changes and Cancellations

Unawkward Social reserves the right to:

• Change the event venue with reasonable notice
• Modify the event format or schedule
• Cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances

In case of event cancellation by us, registered participants will receive a full refund.

9. WhatsApp Community

By joining our WhatsApp group, you agree to:

• Use the group respectfully and constructively
• Not share others' contact information without consent
• Refrain from spam, advertising, or unsolicited promotion
• Maintain the confidentiality of group discussions

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
